A note to everyone reading this:

The post linked above has been removed from public view on the site days ago. The only people who are able to see the post now are people who are visiting the link directly, aka everyone flooding in from here.

My best suggestion is to simply remove the link from this journal and let it disappear from the internet. I also certainly do not encourage the mob mentality of harassing the user as well as flooding the moderator inbox (which has been happening a lot lately.) I thank you Kyle for trying to stop everyone, but giving people all the information they need and telling them NOT to form a mob and harass a user never works.

We, as moderators, are doing our jobs every day and removing posts that break any of our rules. One rule specifically states that people should give credit to artists by linking directly to their work. Therefore, action was taken long before this journal was posted.

Now, to clarify one more thing, This person was not claiming the art as his/her own (see here [link]). While the user did not ask for any permission, his/her intentions were not malicious.

I hope this clarifies a few things. In the future, if you or anyone else here feel that one of your creations has been stolen/posted on our subreddit ([link]) all it takes is for you report it *once* to the moderators and the post will be removed. Any disputes can be handled civilly and efficiently this way.
